What sets a doula apart from others at your birth is that we are there solely for you. I’m not affiliated with the hospital or any provider—my only priority is you and your well-being. Whether your path includes a home birth, water birth, epidural, cesarean, or anything in between, I am here to walk alongside you with steady, nonjudgmental support. During labor, we’ll draw on the tools we’ve explored together during our prenatal visits—this might include breathwork, movement and positioning, rebozo techniques, aromatherapy, and more. If calming lights and a curated playlist help to create the sacred space you envision, consider it done. Your birth is your story, and I’m here to help you write it with presence, care, and intention.

Postpartum Care

Postpartum care is often overlooked in our fast-paced world, yet the first six weeks after birth—sometimes called the fourth trimester—are a vital and sacred time. These early days are foundational for establishing secure attachment, regulating your baby’s nervous system, and supporting the development of a strong immune foundation. Just as importantly, they are a time for you to heal. Studies show that adequate postpartum rest can reduce the risk of complications such as infection, postpartum depression, and long-term pelvic floor dysfunction.

Across many cultures, this period is honored through the tradition of lying in—a time when the birthing parent is nurtured, nourished, and relieved of daily responsibilities so they can rest deeply, recover fully, and connect with their baby. Our postpartum care embraces this wisdom. When your needs are lovingly met, you’re free to do what matters most: bond with your baby and gently ease into this next chapter.
